A FEW WORDS OF WARNING!!!

There are 3 Companies Worldwide, who have the Technology, Knowledge, and Experience, in the Design and Manufacture of Twin Roll Mineral Sizers, ALP Mineral Sizers Ltd being one of those 3 Companies.

Each of these 3 Companies have at least 30 years Experience in the Design, Manufacture, and most importantly, the Knowledge of Suitable Applications, and the Ability to calculate the correct Sizers needed for many types of different materials within their applications.

It is becoming a more and more well known factor, that other companies are now offering their own version of a Mineral Sizer.

Some of these companies use their Name and Brand, as a Major Benefactor in achieving orders.

Admittedly some of these Big Name, Brand, companies do have vast experience within the Mining and Quarrying Industries, and have successful applications working within these Industries around the World, however, this is with their Cones, Jaw Crushers, and Screens, and NOT Mineral Sizers.

It is unfortunate that these Big Name, Brand, companies lack the Experience, Knowledge, and Technology, that the 3 Main Sizer Manufacturers have.

These Big Name, Brand, companies DO NOT understand the Sizing Industry, the situation is far too complicated for them, and this results in them having to offer what they term as a Standard Range, usually shown from a brochure.

They do not have the Basic Grounding, and Understanding, that the 3 Main Sizer Manufacturers have.

These Big Name, Brand, companies,use their Name as a form of Substance in order to gain a potential sale, this results in an “I Know Best” attitude, and thus they fail to give the customer all the relevant Sizer information needed.

We at ALP are now experiencing approaches from potential customers, who have been offered Sizers from the Big  Name, Brand, companies, where they have included all kinds of unnecessary ancillary equipment, i.e Screens, etc, in order to get from A to B, i.e. 2500 TPH, at 1m In Feed to a required Out Feed of 70mm.

If they were to offer the correct calculations, which intern would give a correct Working Throat Aperture and Tooth Configuration, at the correct required shaft speeds on the Primary Sizer, which effectively acts as its own Screen, therefore eliminating some the ancilary equipment, Screens / Screen Decks, etc, their offer would be somewhat acceptable, before the next stage of processing the material via a Secondary Sizer, to give the required Out Feed Size, in this example 70mm.

Top and Bottom of this scenario is, these Big Name, Brand, companies, are completely mistaken in their attitude towards Mineral Sizing, due to lack of Knowledge and Experinece, and obviously do not use or have access to the required calculations needed to achieve the Optimum Sizing Solution, which intern creates a larger financial outlay for the customer.

They DO NOT use their own Heavy Duty Gear Boxes specifically designed for Mineral Sizers, which again can cause costly failure in the future.

The 3 Main Manufacturers use all the correct calculations, and their own specific Heavy Duty Gear Boxes, specifically designed for Mineral Sizers.

All ALP ask, is that before "YOU" the potential customer make any decisions for your Mineral Sizer needs, you at least get a second opinion from ALP who will give you a competitive and economical Mineral Sizing solution for your future projects, or even contact all 3 companies for your comparisons, even if it is just to give you piece of mind, and a second opinion.
